Happy #WhiteCaneDay #ZoesPack! We hope that you are enjoying Blindness Awareness Month and Disability Employment Awareness Month. National White Cane Day is October 15th of every year and celebrated with a Presidential Proclamation to recognize the users of the white cane and to educate the public about the blind community.

Check out today’s post on National White Cane Day!

Our social media channels have been packed with educational stories, interviews with rock star allies and blind friends (Para Cyclist-Justin Sutton, Kristin’s pilot, pro mountain biker, and friend Ash Burton, and visually-impaired Ultramarthoner Kyle Robidoux , and even a #ZoesPack Spotify Playlist. We are also celebrating progress in the courts for the blind community with recent movement in the Domino’s case and a case against the Law School Admissions Test (LSAT).

Tune in to our social media channels this week for more great interviews, educational posts, and a chance to play trivia and win a bandana for your favorite pup. We would love for you to share your favorite story or post this week in honor of Blindness Awareness Month and Disability Employment Awareness Month.

We look forward to updating you in a few weeks from Colorado Springs, Colorado, where Kristin and Ash will be training!
